This stems from OnePlus who want to enter the Indian market, but was blocked by the local smartphone manufacturer, Micromax. That is because Micromax and Cyanogen already has an exclusive contract for the Indian region. This led to a fight between Micromax and OnePlus in court. Well, one of the advantages brought the matter to court is a personal message can be public. And the most surprising is the attitude of Cyanogen to OnePlus written in an email on 17 November 2014 and with the subject "Cyanogen End" between Carl Pei, Global Director OnePlus, and Kirt McMaster, CEO Cyanogen.

I'm guessing there's some misunderstanding. Shall we talk about it during your visit in December?

Carl. We will be terminating our relationship with one plus. I will get back to you with more details shortly.

No misunderstanding. We have no reason to meet in SZ [*]. We are terminating.
Quite surprising is not it? Ending the relationship between the two companies directly through an email does look rough. Not to mention Kirt reply to the following email :

CEO of the company based on Android operating system to use other devices for business? After the communication between the two, in the end Cyanogen want to compromise :
From: Kirt McMaster Date: Mon, November 24, 2014 at 6:18 PM Subject: Re: Let me know when we can have a call To: Carl Pei
Sure. 8pm?
I'd like to reach a compromise here. Ship stock android in India. No mention of Cyngn in India and I will keep supporting oneplus for the rest of the world. And we can continue dialogue for other devices etc.
Unfortunately, there is only One who is the victim Plus PHP from Cyanogen this. When not become a company, there are many developers who feel aggrieved by the Cyanogen, so at this time appear many third-party operating system to Android. Similarly, the Oppo Find 7 Cyanogen edition. Until now the Cyanogen has not issued a stable version and only nightly alone.
Hopefully, the One Plus do not lose hope in the face of Cyanogen like this. There are many other third-party Android operating system based AOSP which have a greater potential for use on their devices such as Paranoid Android, SlimKat, Omni, and so forth. And let's wait for a device that is to be present in Indonesia. Next year?
